Mr. Alejandro Roberto De Zayas, age 79, of Blairsville, GA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at his home following an extended illness. Mr. De Zayas was born in June 1947, the son of the late Roberto and Delia De Zayas. He was a loving, caring and devoted father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle. Mr. De Zayas was of the Catholic faith, above all he will be remembered for the love he gave, the memories he created and the lasting impact he had on the lives of those who knew him.

Surviving Mr. De Zayas are his daughter, Monica De Zayas; son and daughter-in-law, Alejandro and Emoe De Zayas; brothers, Ben De Zayas (wife Patricia Nespolini) and Leon Brunett; grandchildren: Carlos Hernandez, Gabriel Hernandez, Amanda Gonzalez and Kevin Gonzalez. Many other relatives and friends also survive.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Mr. De Zayas’ memory.
