“Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.” That oath was cried out inside Mike Colwell Memorial Stadium on Thursday, April 16, just before 10 a.m., marking the start of this year’s Towns-Union Special Olympics.
The event happens twice annually, and the brilliant blue sky and warm spring weather ensured a beautiful day for local athletes to enjoy the support of an uplifting community.
